Possible Alternative for Accomodations

Possible option for accomodations. I need to do some more research, but if some people are on a tight budget and would like another option besides typical strip hotel, check out this link.

My husband and I (and my parents) own worldmark timeshares and they have 3 options in Las Vegas. On the above link, click on the L.V. dot on the map to see more info. All 3 have free shuttle service to the strip, the 2 off the strip are about 3-6 miles from downtown. Right now all 3 have available rooms for the weekend we are planning to go. I need to research how many rooms I can book (may be able to use my parents to get another 1 or 2 if need be).

This option may not be for everyone, as it would mean SHARING a room with another couple (or even two) . The benefit would be cost ($40/night vs $90 or more?) and 2 of the 3 are more like condos than hotels, which means you would have your own bedroom but share bathroom/kitchen/living room. Also could save on food since you can grocery shop and cook in the kitchen. They have a group pool, rec room, etc. (clubhouse).
This could work for anyone that is coming with baby and no significant other; who might be more comfortable sharing a place with another mom and baby or even another couple so they aren't on their own.
Again, not everyone may be comfortable with sharing, but I thought I would throw it out as an option. The cost would be $40/night for either a 2 bedroom or a 3 bedroom (as long as there were 2 and 3 couples in each)...basically it's $80/night for the 2 bedroom and $120/night for the 3 bedroom and then you split it between everyone. So, if 2 couples wanted to share a 3 bedroom they could but it would be $60 per night instead of $40.

I'm also going to look into how many "guests" each room is allowed. We could work it so that we could have our group come back to the hotel and play in the pool and playhouse and have it be free.
